COURSE DESCRIPTION
Overview
Extend on your knowledge in civil engineering with further studies in areas such as transport engineering, hydraulics and geo-technical engineering.
Customise your degree and explore public health engineering, water resource management, waste treatment, pavement design and analysis, road and street engineering, or transport networks.
Further study
Graduates from the Master of Engineering Practice are eligible to be considered for higher research degrees such as the Master of Research or PhD studies.
Professional accreditation
This specialisation is provisionally accredited by Engineers Australia and eligibility for Graduate membership at the Professional Engineer level.

Note: Not available to international students unless living in Australia and holding a valid visa with a duration of no less than 3 years.
REQUIREMENTS
Australian university three year Bachelor degree in engineering science or engineering technology in the relevant specialisation area, or equivalent.
A minimum of five years’ relevant professional work experience.
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; citizen of New Zealand or holder of a valid visa with a duration of at least three years.
IELTS (Academic only) – Overall minimum score of 6.5 and no individual band score of less than 6.0; TOEFL (internet based) – Overall minimum score of 90 and no individual skills score of less than 20; Pearson (PTE Academic) – Overall score of 58 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 58; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency – Overall minimum score of 185 with no less than 185 in each skill.
