COURSE DESCRIPTION
The UNSW Master of Taxation is a fast-track to Australian taxation law expertise from UNSW Business School, a leading institution in the Asia-Pacific region. This degree is designed to equip you, a tax professional or practitioner, to better manage the complex taxation issues involved in business decisions and transactions.
You will further develop essential skills in research and analysis, that build your exposure to and critical understanding of complex aspects of taxation and the Australian taxation system.

REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor honours degree (AQF level 8) or a 4+ years degree in law, business, taxation, accounting or a closely related discipline (or equivalent qualification); or
A graduate certificate or graduate diploma in a related discipline; or
A recognised bachelor degree in a cognate related discipline with a minimum of 7 courses in law, business, taxation or accounting (or equivalent qualifications) with an average of 65% or more in these subjects, as determined by the UNSW Business School; and professional experience in professional services firms or in government departments) for applicants with an undergraduate degree in a taxation, law, business or accounting-related discipline; or
A recognised bachelor degree and completion of non-award TABL5551 with an average of 65% or more.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 7.0 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE – Academic): 65 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of B and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
