COURSE DESCRIPTION
The UTS College Graduate Certificate in Technology Practice will give you the confidence, knowledge and skills you need to take your professional qualifications to the next level. On successful completion, you’ll receive 24 credit points as Recognition of Prior Learning towards a:
- Master of Engineering (Extension) CRICOS Course Code G or
- Master of Professional Engineering CRICOS Course Code G or
- Master of Information Technology (Extension) CRICOS Course Code E or
- Master of Information Technology CRICOS Course Code C or
- Master of Data Science and Innovation CRICOS Course Code K.
offered by the UTS Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT). Built on a blended learning model, the program combines high-energy Live Online classes, independent study, and face-to-face learning (when it’s safe to do so).
Over the course of one or two semesters*, you’ll:
- learn how to manage the development and implementation of technology solutions and systems
- construct a research report which demonstrates synthesis of information, critical thinking, and the logical arguing of your point of view
- work on real-world design challenges using a design-thinking framework.
You’ll also develop a full industry project proposal, perfect your English and academic skills, and gain new industry perspectives.

REQUIREMENTS
Students wishing to articulate to the Master of Engineering (Extension), need to have completed a 4-year degree at undergraduate level in relevant discipline.
Students wishing to articulate to the Master of Professional Engineering, need to have completed a 3-year degree at undergraduate level in engineering.
IELTS 6.0 overall with 6.0 in writing or TOEFL-iBT 72 with 21 in writing or UTS College Academic English level 4 (AEL4) or equivalent.
