This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have frontline management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings, but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
This qualification is also suited to the needs of individuals with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to further develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities. The course is comprised of 8 units of competency.
Our program focuses strongly on marketing and advertising.

There are no pre-requisite requirements for this course but pathways for candidates considering this qualification may include:

Graduates will have knowledge and skills for application in a business environment. The course is suitable for students with prior knowledge looking to upskill, and others with limited experience in the field, looking to obtain employment in an industry setting. REQUIREMENTS
At Abbey College, students must have/or be:
- Confidence in modifying, saving and uploading documents across the Microsoft Office suite, such as Excel spreadsheets and word documents.
- Access to a computer and the internet.
- 18 years old or above to apply for this course.
- Satisfactory completed Year 12 of secondary education or its equivalent
- and/or
- For overseas students, whose first language is not English an overall IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent OR
- Pass an Abbey College Australia entry test designed to assess the level of English proficiency.
