The SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management (Sous Chef) will empower students for professional and managerial roles in the global hospitality industry. Graduates will acquire skills to operate independently and have responsibility for others and make a range of operational business decisions.
Course Details
• Course duration: 64 weeks of full-time study (20 hours per week).
• Course delivery: full-time study with 20 hours per week of classroom delivery and cooking practical sessions offered at our Gold Coast campus. Students are required to complete industry placement as part of the course. Barrington College can assist with industry placement.
• On enrolment, students will receive a timetable detailing their class times, meal breaks, training room allocations and practical placement information. Units and the trainer will also be indicated on the timetable.

REQUIREMENTS
To gain entry to Barrington College Australia, students must be able to meet the academic and English entry requirements for their chosen course.
Students must be over 18 years old
Academic Requirement:
Satisfactorily completed year 12 or equivalent or gained substantial vocational work experience
English Language Requirements:
Students are required to demonstrate English proficiency at an IELTS band score of 5.5 or above or an Upper-Intermediate ELICOS Course Certificate from Australia or similar
