COURSE DESCRIPTION
The BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, is a nationally recognised qualification. This course reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have general management accountabilities. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area.
The course is suited to individuals who are responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team or work area (including by managing staff performance and making staffing decisions).
Completion of this course may open a career pathway in small and large business across a range of industry sectors or government. Potential roles may include:
Business Development Manager
Business Analyst
Senior Manager
Director Manager
Successful completion of this course can also be a pathway to pursue other advanced diplomas qualifications, or graduate certificate/ graduate diploma qualifications with 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise. Alternatively, the students will be able to access the appropriate employment
REQUIREMENTS
Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age at enrolment
Successfully completed High School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions). Or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
Have sound English literacy skills
Provide IELTS certificate showing an overall band 5.5 (with no individual band below 5.0), or
Where an IELTS certificate is not necessary as part of their visa application, undertake Choice Business College’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment and achieve the following ACSF Levels
Learning – Level 4
Reading – Level 4
Writing – Level 4
Oral Communication – Level 4
Numeracy – Level 4
