This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have frontline management accountabilities.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise that requires business operations skills. They may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
This course is designed for local participants and international participants. They will study the applied theory of Business and undertake skill building exercises and assessments, many of which will be in a simulated work environment.
Qualification
Students successfully completing the course will receive the BSB50120 Diploma of Business (Operations).

The BSB50120 Diploma of Business is intended to prepare participants or recognise and develop existing workers who are performing a range of management or specialist roles in a Leadership and Management environment.
This qualification is transferrable across many industries, as it teaches transferrable Business and Management skills.

Assessment Methodology
Assessment for this qualification may include written reports, case studies, projects, role plays, oral questioning, case study analysis, demonstration, presentation written assessments and third-party reports as well as portfolios of evidence and workplace reports.
Students must demonstrate competence across all tasks of Assessment to achieve Competence in the unit.
REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 18 years of age and must have completed at least the equivalent of Year 12.
Have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old).
Participate in a course entry interview to demonstrate their suitability for the course.
Participate in LLN test and score 3 or above
English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
Educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or
Successful completion of an English Placement Test
NOTE: Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted. Students are required to provide their results so that it can be confirmed they are equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
