COURSE DESCRIPTION

Overview

UNSW’s Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is an innovative business degree that has been designed alongside industry to ensure you are one of Australia’s most employable graduates. You’ll learn in the classroom and the boardroom through experiences that are unique to UNSW’s BCom.

From your first year, you’ll understand business essentials and begin building a portfolio that demonstrates your skills to future employers. You’ll build your expertise by specialising in a major and build your skills through guaranteed industry learning experiences.

Integrated First Year
Begin your degree exploring different business fields and how they work together to solve common business problems. You’ll get a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to be successful in business.

Build your expertise
Specialise your studies by choosing one or two of our business school majors. You can also opt to double your degree with degrees from other areas such as engineering, law or arts, or another UNSW Business School degree.

Guaranteed work experience
Put your lectures into action through guaranteed work integrated learning. Choose from opportunities including internships, group consulting projects and global practicums.

REQUIREMENTS

There are several admission pathways to an undergraduate degree at UNSW including high school qualifications, UNSW Foundation Studies, UNSW Diploma, recognised prior study or university transfer.

English Language requirements:

IELTS: 7.0 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 94 overall (min. 25 in writing, 23 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE – Academic): 65 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 185 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): B, Writing C.
